Utility description: Herd Flock Vaccine Batch Review

Herd Flock Vaccine Batch Review Utility — Veterinary Vaccine Batch Review

ℹ️ Utility performs comprehensive quality verification of veterinary immunobiological products according to WOAH (OIE) and Veterinary GMP requirements:
     • Biological Safety: Strict control for absence of bacteria, mycoplasma, and extraneous viruses.
     • Immunogenicity: Verification of virus titer or bacterial load (Potency) against minimum protective doses.
     • Physicochemical Properties: Control of adjuvant viscosity (oil emulsions, gels) to ensure injectability.
     • Cold Chain Integrity: Confirmation of temperature regime compliance for thermolabile vaccines.

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
     • For live vaccines, absence of contamination by avirulent strains is critical.
     • For inactivated vaccines (FMD, Leptospirosis), key parameters are complete inactivation and adjuvant presence.

Usage:
HerdFlockVaccineBatchReviewUtility.exe → demo mode (console output)
  HerdFlockVaccineBatchReviewUtility.exe input.csv output.json → evaluate your data

Input format:
BatchNumber,ProductName,TargetSpecies,Potency_Value,MinPotency_Limit,Sterility_Pass,Mycoplasma_Free,Extraneous_Agents_Free,Adjuvant_Viscosity_cP,MaxViscosity_Limit

Example:
  VET-001,NDV Live,Poultry,1000000,100000,true,true,true,1.5,5.0

📍 Scope of Application (Usage Where):
     • Veterinary Vaccine Production: Release of batches for poultry farms and livestock complexes.
     • State Veterinary Supervision: Inspection control of imported products.
     • Laboratory Diagnostics: Quality control of test strains.
     • Epizootiology: Ensuring quality of emergency prophylaxis means.

— WHY IS THIS NEEDED?
Veterinary vaccines are used massively (thousands of heads), and a defect in one batch can lead to an epizootic.
Special attention is paid to the absence of extraneous agents that may mutate or transmit to humans (zoonoses).
Automation of review accelerates release of vital drugs while maintaining high safety standards.

⚠️ CRITICAL:
• Extraneous Agents: Presence of any foreign virus leads to immediate rejection.
• Potency: Insufficient dose will not protect the herd and will lead to economic losses.
• Viscosity: Too viscous product cannot be injected, too liquid will absorb quickly without effect.
• Mycoplasma: Frequent cell culture contaminant requiring specific tests.

Key features:
• Specialized checks for different animal species (Poultry, Cattle, Swine)
• Physical parameter control of adjuvants
• Strict biosafety (Safety) verification
• Report generation for veterinary certificates
• Compliance with international WOAH standards

Critical parameters:
• Sterility/Mycoplasma: Negative only
• Extraneous Agents: Negative only
• Potency: ≥ Minimum protective dose
• Viscosity: Within technological norm
• Cold Chain: Intact

💡 Usage tips:
1. Safety Tests: Perform extraneous agent tests on sensitive cell cultures.
2. Adjuvants: Regularly calibrate viscometers for emulsion control.
3. Storage: Use temperature loggers for each batch when shipping to farms.
4. Documentation: Save reports as part of batch dossier for veterinary inspection.
5. Reactogenicity: Consider reactogenicity data when interpreting results.

⚠️ Note: This utility is a technical control tool. The final release decision is made by the responsible person of the veterinary enterprise.

QA/QC and change control

  • Do not rename columns without updating validator, documentation and test set.
  • Retain input.csv, output.json, executable version and checksum.
  • Before production use, perform IQ/OQ/PQ or equivalent CSV/CSA verification.
  • Critical limits shall be verified against the approved specification, registration dossier and local SOPs.
  • The utility provides structured QC decision support; final release decision remains with QA/QP and approved procedures.
